NOTE: The Iowa Renaissance Festival changed dates in 2006. It is now held in May, and not over Labor Day Weekend as it has in years past (1999-2005). For Labor Day Weekend, visit Iowa's first permanent renaissance theme park (with buildings, not tents) at Festival Park in Des Moines.
